At the end of 2003, Maltese hobby breeder Eliana Ellern, exasperated with the non-existence of a product capable of controlling the unpleasant tear staining of her dogs, combining her creative style, experience as a mother of three sons and most of all, love for her animals, was determinate to find a solution to this continuous problem.

The inefficiency of all topical products and concoctions available, lead her to focus the investigation on the source rather than the outcome. After research she concluded that the root of tear staining is an
ophthalmologic bacterial infection and that the priority must be to find an efficient solution without any detriment to the animals’ health and/or immunological system.
After a period of arduous research and constant visits to the consulting vet, Eliana developed a preliminary formula, which she called No More Tear Stains (NMTS).
Throughout the entire subsequent process, she tested the product on her dogs and devoted special attention to monitoring any possible alteration to the appetite, behavior, consistency and color of their feces, etc… No abnormalities were revealed.
It is about time to praise the importance of her three partners, Aspen, Ommi and Annie, all pure breed young Maltese, without whom this project would not have been possible nor materialized.

By mid 2004, Eliana was optimistic about her revolutionary accomplishments but rather apprehensive about her dormant business aptitude. As result, she approached the couple in Coral Springs, FL, from whom she had purchased a few of her dogs. Reluctant at first, then caught by Eliana’s enthusiasm, they agreed to join the venture.
Still sole leader of project, Eliana contracted an old good friend with whom together they created the final product image and fully designed angelsglow.com. Angels’ Glow was ready to go public.

On June of 2005, after the break up of the partnership due to incompatible ideologies, her partners utilized all of Angels’ Glow resources to create Angels’ Eyes.

Since then Blanc du Blanc Inc has been exclusively run by Eliana Ellern.
In addition to learning about finances and production, she has always been faithfully available to her customers. As result and greatest reward was the significant increase in knowledge and experience she acquired.
By the end of 2007, empowered by her even deeper purpose, Eliana decided to follow what she knew inevitable; constitute a new company to honor her commitment to quality and above all, to launch a new brand that will best reflect her deep care for the animals.
As a result, with the certainty of her beliefs and the experience she had gained, she brought together the most competent and caring team she could possibly assemble, what she called “the missing piece of the puzzle”, and Petaware was born.
After all, it is up to the inventor of the first effective product against tearstains on the market, to keep improving on her creation.
Welcome Petaware and Pets’ Spark. I wish you the success you deserve and God bless!
